window piece for tp exhibition
not sure about the window piece ....
something with kinect ?
based on peoples gait
i d like something childish ...
could i draw with chalk ... and erase...
draw a childish house ...with childish weather linked to real weather ...
and sun position...moon position..
that sound like the idea ...
can be bitter sweet ....
would be good to have it continously filmed...and drawing at knight during a months.
and would be good for me to be able to influence the drawings..
all sounds good ...
would be good to have 3 arms drawing and 2 arms erasing ...to have the piece look like a lanscape ... not ideal ...

puppet show
there is great potential to automatise a simplistic puppet show...using the same easthetic vocabulary. maybe just a sock show. If nobody from the creative robotics workshop want this idea ... i ll keep it for my own work...
Need to create a tagging language, linked to a set of recorded physical expressions... needs two speakers
two artificial voices....
need to have the mouth opening closing synchronised with noize or voices...
need 4dof, one base rotation, one base tilt, one neck tilt, one mouth movement..
could do some satirical or lyrical pieces...would depend on easthetic...
this would be a good idea for a collaboration...or maybe i should take responsibilty.
maybe do somthing automatic with a web interface ...with live streaming ...automatic upload on a specific channel on youtube...
i think it would be a good time to do something politico satiric...
automatic spitting image ? just by reproducing phrases politicians say...?

Almost ready to go to the BBC shoot...
Lucky ..I managed to reset everything fairly quickly.
Still... not too enthousiastic about the all story. Anyway tomorrow it will be done.
After we'll see what they do with it.
Will be ok in the end...anyway we have a lot of other things to focus on....

What is that ...
This is just my blob about clumsy non utilitarian robotics....I am starting this blob concurrently with the "Creative Robotics" workshop at Goldsmiths, that I am facilitating with Frederic fol Leymarie.
The workshop will be 5 weeks long. Capacity ten participants. We will be using Robotis technology, Urbi and Ros. Participants we'll be working in pairs to develop an attention seeking piece of robotic using AX-12 servos and various sensors/
